Adjectives ending in -ed and ing
ADJETIVOS ED / ING
En inglés existen ciertos adjetivos que comparten la misma raíz, pero adoptan una determinada terminación -ed, o bien -ing.
Los adjetivos terminados en -ed describen una emoción o estado, mientras que los adjetivos terminados en -ing describen una característica.

FRASES NOMINALES
Las frases nominales simples o compuestos nominales simples son básicamente expresiones idiomáticas en las cuales dos sustantivos o nombres comunes (y algunas veces propios) se unen para designar o nombrar algo nuevo o diferente, que generalmente sería el equivalente de la suma semántica, o suma de significados, de los componentes. Es decir que cualquier sustantivo generalmente se puede combinar con otros para conformar un sustantivo compuesto que denotará un significado derivado de los significados de los dos sustantivos que se han unido.

La tendencia en estos casos es la de fusionar aquellos términos o voces que en función de su uso muy frecuente llegan a identificarse por si solos como una unidad conceptual, con un significado particular y específico:
